We had a bad experience and I wish they had tried to make things right but the hotel ran out of hot water so our second night we didn’t have any and couldn’t take showers .we waited the next day but it never got fixed and it was how they handled it that was terrible.we were charged the full amount with a promise that the manager would contact us to give us some kind of break on our bill.this is an expensive hotel and I waited over a month but never heard anything from them even though I sent emails to their email account.very disappointed in how things were handled and would still appreciate hearing something and addressing this problem.we live in California so when she offered a free night in the future we said we won’t be back to Canada again but if she was willing to give us a free night why could she take a night and day without hot water off our bill or even contact us.very disappointed and still waiting to hear something as it was June 24,25 that we were there and it’s now the end of July

Nice apartment in old Montreal. Super center so sometime it can be a little bit noisy but nothing manageable

1) I didn’t get my check in instructions until 8 hours before check in when the host initially said I’d get it 48 hours before. The instructions were also not professional looking in the slightest. 2) I attempted to contact the host multiple times and either didn't hear back or couldn’t get through to anyone. I was making these attempts during their “operating hours”. Eventually, I ended finding a phone number on Google. I called and the person who answered transferred me to the host. It should not be this difficult to speak to the host. Luckily, we didn’t have to reach out to them again but I can imagine that being a huge frustration if you required immediate assistance. 3) There were fruit flies all throughout the building— in the hallway, elevator and in the apartment. We didn’t say anything to the host because we only stayed one night but this is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. This level of uncleanliness and neglect is not on par with the price they are charging. 4) Slightly less important- the toilet paper holder and toilet seat were loose and unkempt. The kitchen garbage bin also had no lid which probably contributed to the fruit fly problem. All of that aside, I will say that the location is perfect if you’re attending a concert at Centre Bell or looking for something central. I wouldn’t stay here again but would recommend finding accommodations close by due to the great location.
