This was our 3rd trip to Moab in a year. This was the first time staying at the Quality Suites… the property is fairly run down. Some of the highlights: not able to print an important document (staff sent me to the library), ants in the bathroom, fridge froze everything in it including 2 beers and made a hell of a mess, housekeeping never cleaned our room or replaced our towels in a 5 night stay (the front desk gave us new towels when we asked), toilet plunger with a toilet paper streamer sitting on the floor at the check in desk Thursday morning, the pool and hot tub seemed generally yucky, the bedding was well worn. The staff were generally friendly but I think we will pay a few bucks more to stay somewhere else next year. The most frustrating thing was the ridiculous wifi system. It kept logging us out and we would have to log back in with our last name and room number constantly… it was a frustrating flash back to 2006…

Was so old and dirty we and our dog stayed in our car in parking lot to sleep. Only went into room to try and charge our phone. Staff guy was rude and uncaring about any questions we had.

Its a bit far away from downtown shops, but we still walked to dinner, came back and enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The suite is a nice size, bed was soft. Everything was super clean. Gentleman who checked me in spent a lot of time explaing good bars and restaurants.

I rarely do reviews and those that I have done, i don't remember giving a poor one. I planned a fun quick getaway with my family to moab. The reviews seemed great so I went for it and I was so disappointed. I truly don't understand how people have been reviewing so highly. We had to have a lesson on running the shower because it didn't work right, and it didn't drain properly. The toilet clogged almost every time it was used. The room had a lot of rust, and just an overall cringe feel from not being kept up. That's not a complaint on the staff, that's the hotel chain for not keeping up on painting, replacing old and rusty items to make it look nice. The sheet pad moved and I saw blood (and not just a little) on the mattress below the head area where the pillow would be. I felt yucky the entire time i was there. Unless they update, clean up this area, I would not recommend nor stay there again. There are plenty of other options in Moab that wouldn't make you feel gross while you were there. We had a great trip. The only thing wrong was the quality of the hotel we stayed at. Once again, not blaming staff. They were understaffed, however. The one guy was running around trying to help everyone because he was the only one there. Looked like they only have 1 person working at any given time. Kids did like the pool, but hot tub was also down 2 days to be fixed, which was to be expected at that point. They just need to invest some money in fixing it up.
