Difficult to find, problems with check in, unkempt floors, extremely poor lighting in the room, 1/4 roll of toilet paper when we arrived, basically no amenities and the room uncomfortable and as basic as it could possibly be. I would not recommend this place if you expect even simple cleanliness, staffing and basic amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at Hof Weissbad. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, peaceful, and welcoming. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect place to relax and recharge. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the wellness facilities, and the calm atmosphere. It is a wonderful place for couples looking for a peaceful getaway, with a perfect combination of nature, comfort, and Swiss hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be very happy to return. Thank you to the entire Hof Weissbad team for making our stay so special! ❤️

Clean and modern room - excellent stay

This historic hotel is located in the heart of Appenzell and has a lovely restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a short walk from the train station, is clean and charming and rooms have comfortable beds and bedding. The included breakfast is plentiful and delicious with good coffee :) The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating - when we had to check out very early at the end of our stay, they packed us a delicious lunch to take with us on the train the night before we left since we would miss the morning breakfast. Travellers should note that there is no AC due to preservation rules for all hotels/historic buildings in Appenzell - when we came there was a heat wave so it was unusually hot, but we opened our windows at night and it cooled our room off enough so we could sleep. We highly recommend Gasthaus Hof!

Chambre très propre, accueil dès 15h dans le restaurant voisin où nous avons très bien mangé le soir. Le lit était confortable Il y a des magasins et pompe à essence tout près. A 4 kms de la gare de Feldkirch où nous avions notre train le lendemain. Le patron parle anglais
