This is a dated property. Things could be repaired. I took disinfectant wipes to everything in the room and they came up clean. Not a smudge of anything dirty on them. Even though it doesn't look the best, The place is cleaned well!! The owner and his wife were at the front desk when I checked in. Very pleasant people. This is a budget friendly hotel. It is in a good location for Anoka. I wasn't concerned with any kind of breakfast at the hotel. There is a place for breakfast three blocks away that was perfect.

I am grateful to find an affordable option to stay @ N end of Twin Cities. Hotel prices are out of control! My room was large and the bathroom was renovated. Thank you for helping travelers on a budget

Stinky hotel from the 70s

The hotel smelt like b o everywhere was very dirty. The staff treats everybody like they are there to vandalize the place i don't. Know what kind of security issues they had before.But they make you feel like the places a trap house or they have had alot of shooting. The hotel is run down.Feels like they're still using the same stuff from the eighties. No t v in the room there's a t v but it doesn't work no remote and can i say ma m that place smells

If you’re looking for a quick night’s stay for yourself, it is nice. The breakfast is simple but works as a snack to tame your hunger before a bigger meal. The top sheet on the bed had hairs on it that weren’t mine. It was worn so thin in places, it looked like it was stained. It wasn’t though. The furniture is very nice. The room had everything one would expect from an older hotel. There was no microwave, however. Overall, the conditions, amenities, and services were commensurate with the price.

The room was fine, but the walls are super thin and you can hear everyone talking in the hall. The floor it vinyl slabs with big gaps in it. Just a very run down feel. Also no continental breakfast even though it's advertised.

Adequate accommodations.

While the building definitely has seen better days, I still had a couple good nights of sleep. Breakfast was sparse, as already described in previous reviews. Be prepared for no elevators and potentially no “Do Not Disturb” signs to be in your rooms. Staff interactions were helpful and speedy.

This is a hidden jewel run by a family owned business and family. EXCEPTIONAL value surely underpriced for the value. Yes the property is aged but the rooms are clean and the beds are luxurious and water is HOT! Just a blessing to discover this hidden treasure.

Was without a room key for some time. Had to bother the desk person a few times to let me in my room. Technical issues apparently. Also, its not close to anything you might need in terms of a store or restaurant.
