Comfortable room, good meals, friendly service

It seems the hotel expanded their business, and we got a room in another building nearby. Our room was comfortable, everything worked. We went to the original building for dinner and breakfast- both good meals for good prices. Good value for money overall, I would recommend it!

I’m a regular at this hotel, frankly since it was new. The quality of the room definitely has gone from bad to worse throughout the years. Drain in the bathroom is always clogged. Hot summer stay is terrible because of no AC. They left the window open so room was full of little flies. I love this place and the restaurant has great food, but the rooms definitely need remodeling.

A converted flour mill from the mid 1800’s with a flowing creek still under it. The restaurant is just as the pictures show, timber framed and pouring with quaint rustic charm. This property is a restaurant first with some hotel rooms and treat it as such, the rooms are tight but quaint and it’s the restaurant for dinner that really gets lively around 7 pm….. breakfast was decent, just ran out of a couple of things. 4 star!

Wonderful hotel with a great restaurant

Wonderful hotel! Our rooms were in a new, adjacent block and were very comfortable and modern. The big bonus is the restaurant. We paid extra for the breakfast but it was well worth the 8 euro - nice, traditional Bavarian fayre and plenty of it! The restaurant is very quaint and still retains a lot of the old mill features. Evening meal was delicious and excellent value - a mix of Italian and Bavarian dishes

Poor hospitality. Room surprisingly located offsite with no staff. Not given instructions with how to get in and ended up being given a room key that did not work. We were outside in the cold and rain for about 15 minutes. No apology was given by staff or manager who turned out to be the one to come give us a new room key. He never even told us our room had changed. He couldn't answer our question about wifi. He failed to mention kitchen hours even after we told him we were going to their restaurant. By the time we got there the kitchen had closed. Our only option off the menu was pizza. When checking out I was told had I booked by calling the hotel I could have spent less, which was like adding flame to the fire. Room seemed clean and mojitos were good. Overall very disappointed in experience.

Very nice hotel, it has a old mill look and feel but very clean and up-to-date with everything inside and in the room. The service was pretty good as well, and the restaurant was quite nice. Recommended.

Great place but while i reserved the mill portion in the pic they advertise they, they split half our party off into a hotel seversl buildings away from it. While new it was not the historic hotel i reserved.

convenient and clean Hotel..

A wonderful boutique hotel set in a very quiet environment. Room was very well appointed with views out into nearby area. Restaurant prices were reasonable and service very good. Many cafes in town so never short of food. Shops shut on Sundays and in our case they were shut on the Monday which was a public holiday. Very happy with this Hotel.
