This hotel is excellent from the quick, friendly check in to the nicely appointed rooms. It would be nice to have a microwave and in room coffee maker, but the Tru hotels don't have them in room. There is access to microwave and hot water and coffee at all times in the lobby. The only real ding I have is the water pressure in the shower was not good. We were, however, on the third floor. Steven the gm was running breakfast on Sunday morning. It was awesome to see a gm willing to do anything needed. Everyone is super friendly and helpful at this hotel.

The Bare Minimum

The Good: The check-in process was seamless, there's plenty of parking, the lobby is very aesthetically pleasing and features a few games, and there's an on-site laundry available to guests. The Bad: The room is essentially empty. There is no microwave, no coffee maker, no cups/mugs, no ice bucket, no bibles, no menus, and no complimentary tea/coffee/sugar packets that you'll see provided at pretty much any hotel, regardless of the chain. This is supposed to have something to do with "eco-friendliness" I suppose (but think it's likely just corporate frugality in green paint). We also had to listen to the guests above us constantly bumping/running all night and a fair part of the morning. And lastly, we requested a courtesy late checkout only to be told that all the "slots" we're already taken. All in all this is a servicable hotel. But it's also pretty bare minimum. Not sure I would stay again (especially if I need a late checkout).

The front desk lady Kira was amazing during the whole stay . The breakfast lady I didn’t catch her name but was amazing. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and I received a text soon as I arrived to let them know if I needed anything.. great trip

The beds were clean and comfortable. I did find hair on one wash rag. The staff was friendly, maybe a bit too friendly. Although the breakfast lady did ASK if she could hug me. The hotel looked clean overall, but the entire first floor reeked of chlorine. Saturday, the pool was closed until 5pm. This website will tell you there is "room service", there is not. Another website says, "coffee maker in all rooms" & "microwave in all rooms." This is not true either. I had to request them. The front desk said they didn't have such things. When I mentioned the online claim, they said they would get them. Although we had just seen the neighbors get a microwave. I had to request them twice, but they were delivered. The coffee pot did not work. As we were packing out, the security lock engaged itself and were unable to open our door from the outside. The person at the front desk DID NOT have the tool to open it. My husband eventually got it open with a phone charger cable. I was glad we got in but not happy that front desk couldn't help us and now I question security. The shower handle fell off in my hand. Overall not impressed by this NEW hotel.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and I was impressed with the complimentary breakfast. The only downside was the noise above me. There must be poor noise insulation on the flooring because I could hear the person above me walking at 6am, even through the noise machine I travel with.
