"Great location & all round experience "
We received a gift voucher as a gift & booked 2 nights in the 1 bedroom apartment, ocean view which was beautiful. We have an 11 month baby so the apartment was spacious for our crawling bubba. Hotel provided porta cot which was convenient. We loved our stay so much that we booked a further 2 nights in a far less expensive room & to our delight they gave us an upgrade to the room we were already staying in which was fabulous as we didn't have to check in and out or move rooms! We were super grateful for the upgrade. The restaurant was lovely with hreat staff and a stunning view! The location is perfect, no need to drive anywhere as u have the beach at your front door and shops within walking distance. If u have kids this place is perfect abd even if you don't have children us perfect. Thank you Jess Bausch

"Cosy B&B near the beach"
Booked this hotel at the last minute as I was having trouble finding an acceptable hotel for one night along the Great Ocean Road. Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find this jewel. It was a short walk to the beach for an afternoon stroll. Beautiful beach with very few people. Staff at hotel was excellent!

"Nice Unit and good location to bike ride."
Comfortable beds nice living room a little hard to fine in the dark as it is a very big complex of units several blocks not well marked. Kitchen was great in the room and nice living area. The only problems we found was the property management service that we had to deal with in order to get the keys as we were arriving late. They were most inefficient and unorganised requesting the same information on several occasions when it was already given. Did not get back to me to organise key pickup until the day of arrival when I had contacted them several times the previous week. Not impressed!

"Great Location, wonderfully helpful staff / Owner"
When we arrived our apartment wasn't made up from the previous guests. We called the booking agent and they immediately had people turn up to clean and make up our rooms. We met the owner and she was very apologetic and explained that a late mid week booking had been made and the cleaners diary was not updated so they didn't know to prepare our room. When we went back in, the apartment looked lovely. Great size apartment, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, big balcony, full kitchen and laundry....everything included. Great range of teas and coffee which other reviews had complained about. Some other reviews complained that they had no wifi code. It's in the compendium. Others said that pool and spa covers were on and you couldn't swim. That's to keep the heat in. You simply roll them back! Car parking was supposed to be as per your apartment number but as the owner told us when someone was in ours, just park anywhere. There is heaps of parking. Downstairs was Squires loft, a great steak restaurant and a bakery with yummy food. Also a surf shop, clothes and shoes shop and another restaurant was being built for pizza and pasta. It's one block to the beach and so close to many other restaurants- burgers, fish and chips, noodles, pizza, coffee, beer brewery, ice cream and the Torquay hotel. You don't need to go far. The esplanade was just round the corner with more restaurants and of course, the beach. We had a great time and recommend bell street apartments! Thanks.

Torquay is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Torquay, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Torquay hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
