Mamas by the Sea is an immaculate property! A beautiful little home by the sea that is well maintained, cozy, clean and had a very comfortable bed! The host is very nice, shared information about the area and made us feel at home! This was our 1st B and B experience and it was a highlight of our trip even though it was foggy! Highly recommend!

Good place to stay

There were ants around the washroom basin and beds. The front desk “silently” charged additional CA$599 on my credit card without my consent. When I inquired about the extra charge, it turned out that the front desk on-site manager couldn’t tell the CAD-USD currency exchange rates, and she refused to apologize and revise the mis-charged amount. Very bad attitude and super unprofessional! Watch out if your are paying in USD, as they could only match the numbers but ignore the currency exchange rates.

The location was amazing! We enjoyed walking to the Harbourfront and Citadel. We used the laundry for $4 per load. We also used the pool, which was small. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. The room were clean and comfortable. It was very pricey in the summer, but we wanted to be walking distance from downtown so that’s a price you pay.
