They charged me twice for the hotel

I booked my stay through hotels.com and paid the hotel in advance. However, the hotel charged me full price when I checked out. I have emailed the hotel and they say they haven't received a payment before. They told me to send a proof of payment, which I did. I sent them a detailed receipt but they said it wasn't enough. After that they just stopped responding to me. I should not even have to send them a receipt. Hotels.com are trying to fix this for me, but the hotel staff are all struggling with English. They also charged me for breakfast every morning, claiming they asked me if I wanted breakfast when I checked in. I'm 100% sure they never asked me. I had breakfast the first day, but there was not much I could eat due to allergies, so I bought my own breakfast elsewhere the other days. It's been 11 days now and I haven't heard more from them.

The photographs of the rooms on the website do not represent the room that we were given. We requested a non smoking room for a family of four with the two children aged 3 and 1 year old. We could not open the door fully due to a wall, and were greeted by a small room with a double bed and a metal bunk bed that reeked of cigarette smoke. There was an ash tray on the window sill and just outside the window on the outside sill (past the broken pane of glass) were cigarette butts. The whole room would have been only two and a bit metres wider than the two beds and less than a metre longer than the double bed. Bunk bed was totally unsuitable for small children and all pillows were tiny and almost non existant. Also, at my own omission, I did not check to see if the hotel had air conditioning - the room was very hot and had no real ventilation. We did not stay the night and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ok pour un séjour d'une nuit. Pas de clim donc assez chaud et étouffant! Tout est très propre. Pas de serviette à notre arrivée. Nous avons dû en demander et elles nous ont été données sans problème. Pas de réserve de papier toilette non plus. Il restait un rouleau entamé.
