The only recommendation with this hotel is it is close to Calama airport. The rooms have thin walls and we were kept awake by people in the corridor to all hours and upstairs' room's TV. There's a train runs right past the window. The staff were unhelpful when i tried to get help arranging a taxi to the airport.

The room was clean and just about the right size. The walls are very thin and so you can hear the guests in the next room. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Breakfast options were good.

Great concept, very convenient location, really interesting story around the hotel and its owner. Unfortunately only downside is the included breakfast which is not well attended. Would still stay again

Reservation for 1 Double 2 bedrooms apartment. Changed for 2 singles. Heather non-working. Breakfast to.go offered but Non ready when leaving.

I didn’t enjoyed my stay at Modular Express, the only thing I liked was the included breakfast and that is near the airport. Rooms are small and noisy, personal has no customer service attitude, prices are really high in their mini market and meals, and only accept card, no cash. When you go to the cafetería, there are other workers that go too, from mining companies I guess.

The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars is because they don’t have a heater inside the rooms and we were freezing. Staff was very helpful but San Pedro is extremely cold to not offer this.

Rooms are nice, breakfast is nice. I like the location but you need a car to get around.
