"Nice hotel by the sea."
This is a great old hotel that has been remodeled to stay with the modern trends and amenities that people look for. I had a suite so the space sleeping areas were outstanding, the dining and porch area were fantastic. The bathrooms could use some work, the water pressure in the shower heads were lousy. The shower heads functioned, but it could have been a lot better. Sleeping by the sea is special, so if you like the sound of the waves this is for you.

"Excellent resort"
Absolutely the best experience we could ever have. We were there 10 days and everything was wonderful. There are numerous swimming pools, 5 places in the resort to eat and all the food was great or better - plus the restaurants and shopping of nearby Barra de Navidad and La Culebra were great. This isn't crazy Cancun or Acapulco, this is a great low key beach area - The staff is professional I can't say enough good things about Grand Isla Navidad (aka Grand Bay). Next time, I'll get in some golf.

"OK hotel for the price"
Our room was in the renovated section, with new granite counter top, new sink and shower enclosure, there was new light fixtures and new desk and chairs. However the sink was installed without a drain trap which allowed sewer gas to come up over night creating a very foul smell through out the unit, unless I sealed the sink drains with a soft bar of soap. (it took a couple of days to discover the source ).

"Small, boutique hotel on the best beach"
I made this reservation with hesitation. Over the past 35 years, my husband and I have stayed at at least a dozen properties in Manzanillo, beginning with Las Hadas, in the early 80's. Among the hotels we've stayed in have been a few dives, but for the most part we've loved them all--Coral Pacífico, Barceló, Dolphin Cove Inn, to name just a few. We even stayed across the street from Mar Celeste when it was Club Maeva. So, you get the idea---we are experienced vacationers in Manzanillo. We arrived at Mar Celeste and were amazed to see how close it was to the main shopping area. After walking through the open arch way, we were greeted by Karina, the concierge. Check in was muy rápido, (very fast) and Victor took us up one flight of stairs to our room. My first impression was that it was wider than I had expected--and fully equipped--great toiletries, pod coffee maker, make-up mirror, safe, and my favorite--a lightweight robe! Oh, yes, the shades on the sliding doors are controlled by remote. The balcony, though small, is right on the sea! I was curious about what would be include in the all inclusive rate---in a nutshell, everything. The liquors and even the wines were top of the line. The menu is a la carte and the choices are abundant---lots of Mexican dishes and shrimp. I loved the Tortilla Soup--so much so that the chief gave me some to take home (though American, we live in Mexico.) All the staff, Laura, Richard, Victor, Sabina, the beach attendant, etc, were great

Manzanillo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Manzanillo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Manzanillo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
