Don’t get me wrong, they did a nice job of fixing up an old Holiday Inn Holidome to make it a modern hotel, but the room I stayed in didn’t have a working AC and, even with ample time to work on it, it was not fixed.

Almost heaven, central Kansas

Checkin was very easy. Staff were nice. It had the usual small convenience store near the front desk. Rooms were comfortable and beds very soft and comfy. This hotel has been rehabbed in the recent past, and it is still in very good shape. New carpet, furniture, beds etc. Bathroom was nice. It was the little things that got it the lower rating. Drains were slow. The halls had not had as much attention as the rooms and lobby. Our room was poorly lit. They need a real bartender in the bar, things like that. It was also noisy our second night. Not the hotels fault, but did leave an impression. Overall, if you need a place in Manhattan to stay near campus and get a good rate to you could do a lot worse. Not sure I will stay her again.
