The hotel was good. The only complaint is that loud noise, like dragging of chair and some knocking on the floor and basin, can be heard especially during the late afternoon.

I chose the hotel becos of location. It is v basic hotel. Facilities are old, working but old. Water pressure for shower, v v weak. V fustrating. But location is awesome. Thanks.

Good location only. The hotel is not well maintained, bottom of bathroom door with loads of moulds marks, dirty armchair, damaged furniture, creaking wardrobe door & etc. The hotel should be of 2 star only (why it is graded 4 star). Very disappointed with the stay. Never book this hotel again.

Service was good but communication sucks

Excellent service from the front desk. Both the day shift and night shift. Only the hotel communication department is a big big disappointment. I tried contacting them through Hotel.com and their direct email. No reply at all. Makes planning very hard.

This is a comfortable hotel and the room that I had on 13th floor was spacious, sunny and hospitable. But this is not a grand old dame. It is a huge 300 plus bed hotel in the city centre of Melaka. There is a big shopping mall across the road. It’s just a pity that there was not not water for most of my four day stay and housekeeping is very tardy. They don’t even provide hand towels except on request. But despite the shortcomings it is a fine place to stay at a very reasonable price.

It was disastrous, reception not sure about the process, i have been charged tourism tax when checked in while it stated in the booking that the travel organisation ( expedia / hotels.com ) would pay the tax to them. They also charged the tax for the two days which i did not check in as i had to burn two nights due to medical check up. It is actually stated in their country information website that no money/ tax should be charged if not staying in the hotel. Overall this hotel is really terrible.

reasonable hotel for a one night stay. just basic hotel but near to amenities and Jonker St. walkable distance. shower was spoilt but they attended promptly. the card access was also faulty but they fixed the issue fast too.
