Mala Vrbica Vacation Packages

Good property, central location, stayed there several times, and am planning to stay more.

Great location near the botanical gardens

Great location- not in the tourist area so it's quiet. Big hotel with expected amenities. Very comfortable bed. Lots of choices on breakfast buffet. Staff all top notch. Highly recommend

Very disappointed with the misleading parking information. My booking confirmation specifically stated “free self parking”, yet when I arrived, the receptionist told me that “parking is never free”. I was then charged €20 for one day parking. If parking is not complimentary, the booking information should clearly reflect that. €20 per day was an unexpected and unreasonable additional expense. €20 for 1 day parking in Belgrade is insane!

Of all the hotels on my trip, Mama Shelter was the one i was most excited about, but the biggest disappointment. Once you get past the cool design of the lobby and restaurant spaces, the no-frills guest rooms are very substandard. It’s as if the design is intended to look great on social media, but little else. On closer inspection the rooms look and feel cheap. Plastic laminate surfaces, basic fittings, scratchy sheets and towels, cheap polyfill pillows, no kettle or coffee maker, no umbrellas, a curtain for a closet. I booked a Large Mama Terrace and found the room very small and uncomfortable. As far as housekeeping, the rooms were clean, but the maintenance made the room look dirty. The black walls were chipped and smudged and the pale pink walls were badly scuffed and lap marks from painting were visible. The silicone and grout in the shower corners were very moldy. Most of the balcony rooms are on lower floors so views are of the buildings directly across and face away from the city. I made two calls to the front desk to be told they were very busy and would call back but calls were never returned. The hotel also sits atop a small mall and shares the elevators so getting to your room can take forever. All the cheap decor aside, a hotel at its price point should at least have comfortable bedding and towels. Mama Shelter does not.

The design of the hotel is lovely. The staff were very helpful. Excellent location, walkable for buses and restaurants.

The staff was amazing! The location is amazing! The room was small but the amenities were all there.
