This is an old pub with rooms, not an hotel. It has a very definite charm. Supper was good standard pub fare. Breakfast was not available midweek but that was no hardship to us. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Windmill before and accommodation is excellent. Had 2 wonderful evening meals. Pet friendly. Only let down on the last day was a boiler failure which meant no hot water and only a dribble of cold water. So no shower Iā€™m afraid! Had to boil kettle to get hot water for a wash of sorts. Staff very apologetic but couldnā€™t sort the issue before we had to leave.

Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel was really lovely and comfortable. They thought of everything you could possibly need, incuding individually wrapped ear plugs, in case of noisy next door guests! It was also so authentic in its decor

Well worth a stay

We had a fabulous stay there, the rooms were well equipped and furnished, very warm & homely, felt newly decorated yet reflected the heritage of the very old building that The Windmill is. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and was delicious and well presented.

Great place to stay, service and food was outstanding in the pub for dinner, the rooms were quirky and very clean, if you like an old building with character the windmill will be a good fit
