Room didn't have soap for the bathroom, which is fine by the way, but when I asked the front desk they were unable to assist so I had to go out and buy my own soap! Also, when checking out and putting my stuff in the car, a staff member came out and told me to settle up at the front desk. They didn't want to honor my Expedia transaction and asked me to pay for the two nights at a much higher rate. After a bit of back and fourth, and showing proof of the transaction, they finally agreed to let it go. They weren't rude or anything, they just didn't know how to process things through Expedia. They are under new management, which is very obvious, so book with a little understanding until they are more established.

The hotel entry from the parking lot takes you into the second floor. Our room was on the third floor but there are no elevators, which is odd for a hotel this size. Our room had a single queen bed, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, clock, ironing board and iron and a phone. The bathroom was small, with a toilet and one-piece acrylic shower. The sink was in a small alcove outside the bathroom. There was a single overhead light above the bed for reading, but no individual lights which could be a problem. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, toast, a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, apples, bananas and gluten-free bread if requested. Two concerns we spoke to the front desk about when we left... the toilet was loose and rocked on the floor, and when we returned from breakfast, we realized the door wasn't locked. The key card operated it when swiped but it wouldn't latch in spite of repeated attempts. We were assured when we left that these problems would be addressed.
