It's okay if you are a hippie. If you aren't, pass Friendly staff though

Beautifully appointed hotel in a marvelous setting. Friendly, helpful staff from the minute we entered until we reluctantly had to leave. Room was quaint, tidy and very clean. Restaurant was great, including the sunroom-like sitting area next to a roaring waterfall. Short walk to funky Wakefield downtown shops and restaurants. Our visit too short to utilize the on-site spa. Outdoor fire pits were great on a cool, crisp fall evening. Highly recommended.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at doubletree Hilton downtown Ottawa It feels like home away from home The place is so convenient and close to everything and the staff are amazing and friendly and welcoming and professional. It’s my second time there and won’t be my last. Thank you so much

The Hotel is situated in a good place but the property is quite old and was maintained a long time ago. The service level is not quite perfect, but surely not for the 4 star hotel. The bedclothes wasn't changed the next day, the tea and coffee supplies weren't renewed and towels were changed for less people than there were in the room and not all the towels were changed. Not including the additional asking for napkins which finished as soon as we arrived and some rusty nails in the bathroom and the bathroom fan which didn't work:) Nevertheless the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The amenities were very nice.
