Amazing place. Desk staff very nice, room very clean. Housekeeping, very efficient. Everything was wonderful. The restaurant great, food excellent and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again.

Bar and restaurant staff were excellent, attentive and provided great service. Front of house/reception staff in my opinion were less so. Reception staff set the scene therefore they should greet staff with a smile, be friendly and take some time to run through what’s what. This was missing. I also think that a surcharge of 17 euros for breakfast when paying 135 euros for accommodation is very expensive. I declined and went to the local town where my breakfast cost less than 10 euros

I stayed at Temple Bar Lane Hotel for just one night and overall had a very comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Temple Bar—so I expected the room to be on the smaller side, and it definitely was! For one night, though, it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great. I was especially surprised by how quiet the room was. We were right above a pub in Temple Bar, but I had absolutely no problem sleeping. The bathroom was adequate with a lovely shower and a heated towel rail, although the sink could have been a little bigger. The room also had a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk, as well as bottled water. Air conditioning was a huge plus since I happened to be in Dublin during one of the hottest weeks in August! The room was very clean overall. I noticed a few water rings on the end tables, but otherwise everything was well maintained. The biggest thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator. The hotel has five floors, and I was on the third floor. The stairs are narrow and can be difficult to navigate, especially with luggage. I had a large suitcase and managed to get it upstairs, but anyone with mobility issues or difficulty climbing stairs should definitely take this into consideration. Overall, this was a great choice for a short stay in the heart of Temple Bar. The comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet room, air conditioning and unbeatable location made it a good stay.
