Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa offers 260 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Great place. Wasn’t busy nor loud. People having a good time. Pool chairs were always available. If you want a party scene, need to walk to the marina. Very close to the marina so great location for local dining and shopping. Facility was fantastic and clean. Beautiful views. You can’t swim due to currents but gorgeous beach.

Favorite part was that they have the kids club, i have two kids of ages 5 and 3. The private beach was closed off due to the current when we checked in, but we were able to go in morning the next day. Everything else was great. Would love to come back!

The construction noise was very loud during peak pool times. And I had a visitor and he was made to park at the guard shack and walk up the hill.

Very much liked the property. Check in and check out was a breeze! Our room was fantastic! The employees were helpful, kind, and friendly! I really loved all the guys that put on the stretching class every morning down by the beach! They were all very very good!!! My only complaint was the outrageous price of the drinks over $15 and an extra shot made them close to $30!!! Also taxes on the food at 17% and then 20% tip on top of that !!!! Does NOT make it a cheap place to travel!!!!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The entertainment and activities offered were plenty, and I personally enjoyed the hotel’s playlist. :) The breakfast buffet and staff went beyond to make us enjoy every meal. The hotel had constructions of ca 25% of the property, and it was noisy at times.
