Perfect the noise wasn’t even bad as other review left and also the water pressure and heat was good not bad .and I would stay here again anytime.If yous r looking somewhere to grab and eat fast glory’s burgers is perfect walking distance and tast good.the only downside was the parking 30 a night pretty expensive

DTLA location comes with the noise and shady characters that you would expect, but otherwise beautifully renovated, charming aparthotel, within easy walking distance of nightlife, cafes, and restaurants. Getting extra towels was a chore b/c of the minimalist approach, but otherwise great stay.

Parking suggestions made in the app are not the best, so do your own research. Conveniences like bath towels and toilet paper are below reasonable hotel expectations. Replies to requests made through the Sonder app are not followed through by an actual person. The room lights went out completely on the second night of our short 2-night stay. In summary, our first experience with the Sonder The Crafstman was a minor nightmare.

Sonder The Craftsmen Misleading

The photos for the hotel provided are very misleading. It seems like a nice area but when you arrive it is anything but. When we first got there, we had to park about four minutes away because there was no onsite parking. The website for the Craftsmen offered two locations to park that were a few minutes walk, meanwhile there is closer parking right behind the hotel. The area is very sketchy and unsafe due to many unhoused people and people doing drugs which is why I gave it a low rating especially for no parking being available. Noise level was okay. It was noisy but not enough that you were unable to fall asleep. Hotel was nice but just did not like the shower. The head was too small for a big shower so there was not much coverage.

Room was really nice. I liked that they had security 24/7 and the only way to access the elevators was with a code given to you before check in. It's in a convenient location if you're planning on going to bmo stadium, which was my reason for choosing this hotel. I definitely wouldn't walk around the area alone though. It was also noisy at night, but thay didn't bother me.
