This hotel is amazing as is the staff. What individualized rooms. Such a pleasure the amenities aren't typical but 10000percent thoughtful. Inexpensive with an amazing local. I would come back anytime I stay in lbc.

cute for solo traveler

would definetly recommend if solo. I went with a friend and not easy to get ready at the same time. no spot to sit n apply makeup. bathrm too small to do hair. but very cute and good location. I failed to select 2 beds. may have gotten a bigger room

The single room was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. There were no table or chairs, and the space on both sides of the bed was very narrow. The bathroom was also tiny—the sink was only the size of a palm, and the shower just barely had enough space to stand in (and I’m relatively slim, yet I often bumped into the walls). The window curtain was broken and dusty. There was a smell of recent renovation in both the room and the hallway. The hotel had no elevator at all. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The only upside was the staff—two were very friendly, while one was a bit indifferent. The hotel offers bike rentals and a shared kitchen, which is great, but bikes are very easy to get stolen in California. Mine was stolen, and I had to pay $150 for the lost.

Rooms are super small. Literally “cozy Queen”. Staff were friendly and helpful, even replaced the a/c unit since the one in the room did made a lot of noise. If your pack more on the lighter side then this place is good. Packing for a cruise, you have to lug your suitcases up 2 or 3 flights of stairs

I’d come back !

Booked this hotel to stay in before debarking on cruise. Nicely decorated, conveniently located near store (5 min) walk, cruise terminal 5 min drive and beach 20 min walk. Room was small but served its purpose well. Full kitchen with amenities downstairs if needed. Service was excellent!

I guess I did not read the hotel description thoroughly. Not meant for disabled but even if it were the area was scarry. There was a man shooting up in front of the hotel for everyone to see. Homeless going through the dumpster by the torn up parking lot in the alley behind the hotel. There is a locke with keypad on the front door. The fact you need. Keypad lock tells me everything I need to know. They try to disguise it as a convenience thing but either you are to cheap or to lazy to hire staff or it's a dangerous area. The area around this hotel looks like a ghetto! No way was I going to stay here. I found a room at the Queen Mary at a decent price and stayed there! I wasn't to upset about loosing my money. No refunds. Safety is more important!

The room was hot the air conditioner never really worked and the stairs were very steep to drag luggage up and down no elevator .. there was a sex shop right in the middle of the hotel buildings the parking was a little sketchy
