The guy at the front desk when we checked in was friendly and courteous. The room we got was nothing special. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. We thought the room was clean until we got a better look. There was a pair of socks rolled up on the side of the bed, not ours. The pillows had red stains. Looked like lipstick and who knows what else. So, obviously the room wasn't properly cleaned before renting it out. They have a "continental" breakfast. Not great, that's all I'll say about that. For these reasons, I would not recommend staying at this hotel, there are others nearby that you could try.

Clean but terrible traffic noise

It’s a basic hotel at a decent price. Clean and comfortable EXCEPT it is like literally sleeping ON the highway. So so loud all night long from traffic. If you don’t have earplugs, you’re not getting any sleep. If you do, you might be ok? It was still loud with my earplugs in.

My daughter and I are regular attendees at this location. I am highly aware of the 11am checkout time. It’s 11:06 and I am just about to head out the door to bring my key to the lobby when I get a call from the front desk. The lady who spoke to me was very rude. Her tone on the phone was very unprofessional and I come to this location very often and will not tolerate any disrespect. I will take my money elsewhere.

Don’t waste your time

Ugh where do I start., so I reserved and paid for a room through hotels.com. I arrived to the hotel about 9pm. The guy working said he couldn’t find a reservation and going through a 3rd party sometimes can take up to a couple of hours for the reservation to go through. I thought that was odd since I had never had a problem in the many years I’ve been using hotels.com. So I called and after 2 hours of going back and forth i finally got a room. (I have to mention that I had another reservation for the next 2 days at another hotel by the beach and check in was as smooth as can be.) The room was so outdated. The bed.. don’t waste you might be more comfortable in your car. The heater did not work, the bed sheets were thin and not warm. I was very disappointed and assumed that location would be much more nicer inside!

I came to escape the hazardous air quality due to fires. Was woken at 6:00am with pot fumes pouring into my room for an hour. I talked to staff but they helplessly apologized and did nothing. They didn't even investigate whether the smoke was coming from within the non-smoking building. I guess the CA Surgeon General warnings about the dangers of pot don't matter, nor the health and recover of our lungs.

They provide two packages of coffee in the room. one regular and one decaf. But no sweetener, creamer or stir sticks. When we asked the front desk about this they told us that this was the hotel policy. When we arrived we parked close to the lobby entrance. We had an early flight and when departing the lobby was locked up. The desk clerk told us we had to exit on the opposite side of the building and walk around the entire building to get to our car. Room was not in great shape. Damage to the mirrors and a rickety chair in the room. The door for the bathroom was a very heavy pocket door with very little to grasp onto to close. My wife could not even move the door and I could not get it clised all the way. Maintenance not good.

Christmas present

Awesome stay! This is the second time in a month that we have been to Southern California. Great place to stay and reasonable prices. Went to a Kings game and Santa Monica Pier!
