The staff and the property was great. My view was magnificent. My only complaint is parking is $40 a day. For guests I think that is too steep. Other than that the staff was always helpful and nice. I would stay here again.

Checkin is pretty late at4pm. We asked if it was possible to check in once the room was clean and available but they said they would have to charge us an additional 40$ to check in before 4! We ended up paying for vale but when we would leave in the morning they would just hand us the key to go get our car ourselves! They did however park it upon returning back to the hotel at the end of the day. We told the front desk who seemed surprised but not sure anything was done about it . Over all great location and pretty good hotel

The hotel is very close to an old Power Plant, which is an eye-sore for the area. Previously the hotel as a Crowne Plaza Hotel and rebranded under the name Sonesta. The building was constructed in 1987 and renovated in 2016. From the main entrance and lobby, the hotel looks great. As well as the common ares. However, once you settle into your room, there are some details missing. My room was ocean facing, which was great. But the black shades had mold on them and the sliding glass door felt old. The bathroom had paint chipping from the ceiling. The room had an odor. If you are sensitive to noise, you can hear noise from across the street, where beach-goers gather for live music and good times.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and the location is amazing! The callout would be getting a latte there they didn’t have milk for two days of our stay and it would be nice if the concierge was out a little bit more, but the staff was very helpful and amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Warning: Parking is $40 at this facility (you'd think that might be included in the $330 price of the room). I booked this hotel for me and a few friends and were shocked by how small these "queen sized beds" were. I promise you they were full size. We saw online a queen is 5 ft wide and that was FAR LESS than what we were sleeping on. My five foot tall friend laid across it and was dangling off the sides. It was a tight and uncomfortable fit for two people. At 1 a.m. we were awoken by a couple next door screaming at each other and slamming drawers. Every time I thought they'd settle down for the night they would get back into it. Very disappointed by this experience, especially for the price.

Rooms old and tired. No info welcome pack or anything. Barely any coffe tea. Paper cups for coffee in the room. Felt like a motel. Nice lobby but hallways and rooms look like a 90s holiday inn. Area great. Location great. Oven view as advertised is after the street and large parking lot. Wouldn’t go back. Parking $40 a night self park

Attended an event at the hotel. Did not get the discounted parking fee offered to the party attendees because we stayed overnight. The Keurig in the room did not work. I mentioned it to the front desk at checkout. No apologies and no attempt to compensate for the inconvenience. The response from the front desk, “Ok, I will let someone know.”
