The property was very nice and modern. The staff were amazing. Check-in was easy. Food was great, and atmosphere was excellent. There is parking across the street (not a part of the hotel) for a fee - $15 for the day or $30 overnight but no in and out privileges. The rooms were very clean and modern. However, this is not a hotel you book to go stay and relax in. The rooms are very tiny. Think dorm room tiny. The width is wide enough to accommodate the length of a king size bed. When you enter, there is a tiny closet and full length mirror, followed by a toilet/shower combo looking closet, and small vanity/sink area across it. This is all located within the same small hallway to get to your bed - which is pushed up against the walls. So there isn’t much privacy since you can hear everything your partner is doing in the toilet/shower lol. Not bad if you just need a room to sleep in.

Really excellent hotel in a poor location.

The CitizenM hotel in downtown LA is an excellent find, the rooms whilst not large are comfortably laid out with big, comfortable beds, excellent amenities and great room tech. The breakfast is decent and the bar, restaurant area is clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful and overall the experience was great. It is important to note that the hotel is not in a great part of town. I’d advice against walking alone at night although the hotel does have security on the door and you can only enter in the evening with your room keycard.
