I booked a room through Expedia with Air Venice property for August 20. Upon arriving there were homeless people sitting near the entrance of the hotel, they were saying disturbing things as we walked in. We checked in to what we thought was a decent hotel, only to go unload our luggage and upon entering the second time, the biggest roach met us at the door. We go to our room on the second floor to find there is absolutely air conditioning, it’s nearly 80 degrees outside and you have rooms with no ac, I am not sure how you even have a permit to operate like this.
We decided we were not comfortable staying in this vicinity with how everything went and the property was not acceptable. We let the check out person know, they had us sign a paper saying we were canceling, and told us there was nothing he could do about our complaints to contact the 3rd party, in which I did, asking for a refund because let’s be honest, who in there right mind would stay anywhere like this.
Expedia advised me that there was nothing response last night because it was so late, but I would receive an email about requesting the refund, in which I did, claiming that we did even complain to the person at the counter, which is a complete lie. I’m not sure how you operate a facility like this, but it’s a disgrace that you charge over $200 for something in this shape. These pictures are not what this property even remotely looks like. They also will not give us a refund.
