The room was fine, basic, but clean and with enough room.
Bathroom was spotless, bath tub narrow and very hard to get in and out, but lots of strong hot water. The safe required a credit card, with no clue as to charge. Never saw anything like this before. There were two electrical outlets which were enough for our phones and a laptop. Great to have a 120 volt outlet in the bathroom for a night light and curling iron. Check in was a disaster. Instead of releasing rooms as they are cleaned, all rooms are unavailable until 3 p.m. (not 2 p.m. as Expedia advertised). So we arrived at 8:30 a.m., very tired after an overnight flight, with no room. We had no choice but to cancel our afternoon walking tour.
We walker around and got back to the hotel at 1:30 p.m. Still no room. By now, there were a number of people waiting for rooms. The man at the front desk was friendly and very apologetic. Said he was checking with cleaning staff but no rooms until 3. All the people at the front desk were kind and very helpful. But we can't remember a worse check in experience.
