Great location close to restaurants and shops. Nicely decorated. Tasty, well prepared breakfast. The only downside was that check-in was at 3 pm and they could not make an exception. My daughter had arrived that morning on a red eye flight from the US west coast so of course was exhausted and sleepy. The staff kept encouraging her to leave the hotel lobby to sight see but she really needed to shower and nap. This made for a less than ideal start to our trip. Many hotels have an afternoon check-in time but most find a room for those who arrive early, especially on long flights. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

As a first time International Solo traveler, this hotel was everything I could have hoped for. The Staff helped me navigate the Metro and get aclimated my first couple days. Breackfast onsite was perfect and the coffee is to die for. I would highly reccommend Dear Losbon :)

The most wonderful place to stay. From the welcome to the day we left, the service and friendliness from all of the staff was exceptional. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Good air-conditioning and amenities. Breakfast was perfect, with plenty of choice. Nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Highly recommended!

Highly recommended hotel! Location was good for getting to the various tourist spots - there’s a tram stop just outside and Ubers are really easy to get and not expensive. The rooms were immaculate. We had a room facing to road and expected it to be noisy - it wasn’t. Yes you can hear a passing tram when they’re running but they stop at a reasonable time. Breakfast was excellent and varied a little bit each day. Honestly couldn’t fault it as a choice of hotel. Lisbon is an excellent city break - definitely take a trip to Sintra for a day, trains are easy and frequent.

This is a beautiful hotel, very clean, large rooms, comfy beds and a great bathtoom with everything you need. The breakfasts were fabulous, served from 8am. We found the hotel to be quite central and the old tram 28 stops right outside. The staff are very polite and do all they can to help. We had complimentary drinks on arrival. Check in and out was efficient. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Lisbon again. I will recommend to friends who are interested in Lisbon. If I’m only rating property for its staff it would get a 5 star rating! My biggest complaint about the property is the stinky tenant with the barking dog. You smell the stench of unwashed dog the moment you enter the hotel. And it raidiates through the stair well. My room was very nice but housekeeping would turn off AC each day so when I came back from a hot sweaty outing I’d have to cool down room.

You can’t bring your own food and drinks back to the room- even to eat on your patio. However the staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great.

Such a beautiful hotel with clean, stylish, spacious rooms! The water pressure in the shower was incredible. The hotel staff were truly some of the kindest and most friendly I’ve ever experienced. They were all happy to give recommendations about things to see and places to eat. The breakfast buffet that’s included is wonderful with lots of delicious foods to choose from. Next time I’m in Lisbon, I will absolutely be staying here again! Highly recommend!

Staff are excellent and provide a warm welcome. The hotel is friendly and the amenities are what you would expect. Location is good but wouldn't suit people that find a 20 to 30 minutes walk into the city centre . Public transport ( trams stop outside the hotel ) but are difficult to get on in high season.
