Excellent position in town for exploring on foot. Walking distance to both railway stations. Good breakfast. Great room with views of square. Excellent friendly staff, especially Margot on reception who was particularly helpful and polite.

A great location in the centre of Lille. We had 3 rooms and all were spacious but the ground floor one was rather dark. The roof terrace gives a great view of the centre. We didn't eat in the hotel but the restaurant area looked nice. Would stay there again

Lives up to its name!

We were delighted with the Grand Hotel Bellevue on our trip to Lille. The reception staff were courteous and helpful, they even stored a pizza we’d ordered from a local pizzeria in the fridge overnight so we could have it for lunch the next day. The breakfast choices were good, and catered for different needs/diets. The hotel decor made it look very grand. Our room was great, comfy queen bed and lovely bathroom with a separate toilet which was useful. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, and the robes and slippers were an added luxury. The views from the rooftop balcony were awesome, and we enjoyed a drink there one evening. The drinks at the hotel were a bit more expensive than some of the cafes around the corner, but they were good cocktails! Highly recommend this hotel to other guests

Don’t stay here!

The front door was locked upon arrival. No one at reception. We knocked and waited. Finally an employee came, called and door unlocked. Rather scary for women in street. Third floor halls rugs had stains, dirty neglected. Safe in room didn’t work. Oder in room. Stain on bathroom ceiling and water on floor by toilet. We requested refund. Could not get an employee to help. Unsatisfactory. Do not understand why it is rated a 9.

Amazing hotel - the terrace is a gem

The Belle Vue is beautifully positioned overlooking the main square right in the centre of town. It’s beautifully renovated, combining the old with the new in a very modern and tasteful way. It was comfortable and staff were professional, helpful and polite. A thoroughly pleasant stay! Would recommend.

Good location, entrance to hotel is at rear or building/ not from the square. Breakfast area fairly small, so busy at peak times, but good options. 3rd floor room - Comfy beds. TV in room tricky to work. Only option for UK channels is to cast from phone/ which isn’t ideal. No fridge in room. Water from lobby areas only.

View of the Grand Place was beautiful, especially at night. Really nice property, clean, and convenient to the sights of the city. Staff was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Family stay

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4. We had a beautiful room, with a large bathroom and separate toilet. The kids shared a large sofa bed and there was amble room for a 9 and 5 year old. We only had breakfast on the last morning but there was enough to suit all tastes. Including children with pancakes and waffles available. The hotel overall was very clean and the reception staff were incredibly helpful. The rooftop bar is a must with amazing views.
