Great space outside of Chamonix.

Nice and quiet with a great view, restaurant, bar, outside lounge area, game room, bands, and helpful staff. Bus to Chamonix right across the street was convenient too.

When I checked in I got a room with 2 levels but the height of the first level is so low it was hitting my head. I have to bend and walk in the room. Requested for change but I was told it is not possible.

Great Location, Delicious Food and Kids’ Paradise

RockyPop Hotel in Chamonix is a fantastic choice for families. The hotel is spotless, with a friendly atmosphere and an amazing team – always smiling, helpful, and very attentive to food allergies, which made our daughter extremely happy to enjoy the buffet safely. The restaurant serves outstanding meals, with something delicious for everyone. The location is perfect – a bus stop right next to the hotel (10 minutes to Chamonix center) and the Multipass makes all cable cars and trains free and unlimited. There are plenty of attractions – a children’s corner, games, billiards, table football, ping-pong, and a playground with breathtaking mountain views. Comfortable rooms and great facilities make this place perfect for relaxing after exploring the beautiful hiking trails.

I booked a mezzanine room as this was the cheapest room ($250 1 night), quite expensive and in Les Houches and not bustling Chamonix. The room was exactly as the picture represented but scary in reality. The tread of steps up to the mezzanine bed were very thin. I have tiny feet and had to step sideways. Also 3 steps down to the single bed seemed dangerous. Would not recommend these rooms. The ambience in the common areas at night was amazing, live music, couple of large outdoor areas, open bar and restaurant and comfy sofas to relax. Would highly recommend but avoid mezzanine rooms.

Rocky Pop has a lot of great character in decor. Exceptionally clean and front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Food was excellent and convenience to bus stop and transportation was also excellent.
