Comfortable beds in quiet, if dated, rooms.

The room was clean and of good size, and the bed was very comfortable,. Despite getting a room directly opposite the lift, it wasn't loud at all. The blind on the window was an plastic external affair resembling a Venetian blind which didn't close fully and let in more light than I'd like but I slept pretty well. As seems to be standard in Germany, there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was fine, a decent spread of the normal continental options with a pleasantly airy dining room and plenty of coffee. On the downside, the room felt tired and old, especially the bathroom. Although the shower was relatively new, powerful, and got hot quickly, the floor in the bathroom was old and scuffed and the shower curtain looked dated. Rather archaically there is no free WiFi in the room. The hotel was also located further out than the booking website indicated to me - check the address with Google Maps yourself if you want to be sure.

Good value, lovely breakfast!

Nothing fancy, but the hotel was comfy, clean and good value - with a nice breakfast. The only real downside was the lack of air con as I visited during a heatwave!!!

Don't expect to get coffee if it's a bank holiday!

I was next in line at reception behind a German guy...There was light banter with smiles & laughter between the receptionist & the guy...when it came to me checking in it was a completely different story...the receptionist was cold & frosty & every question I made was met with a dirty look I felt most unwelcome. The room was basic with no coffee facilities but pleasant enough...what i did notice that the floor had not been vacuumed & that there were hairs in the bedding...I placed a towel over my pillow to sleep on. The staff were hit & miss with regard to helpfulness/politeness. My biggest disappointment was on a Monday (Bank Holiday) just after midday being told that if I want a coffee that I had to go to a cafe down the road...YOUR A HOTEL AND YOU DON"T SERVE COFFEE ON A BANK HOLIDAY!!!!!

Functional for short stays

The hotel was reasonably priced and included a very substantial breakfast. The room was more than adequate for the price. However, there was no free Internet access in the room. Internet access is no longer a luxury.

Good, simple accommodation

Stayed here while visiting family and was just the job. Room was basic but warm and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast and staff on reception polite and helpful. Can't fault it for the price I paid and I would stay here again.

Good value

Good basic hotel, good night's sleep. Bit quirky with bed up against the wall. As everyone says. .. breakfast was superb and a fun start to our trip. We walked to the hbf in themorning and got a good feel for the city.

Clean

Room was significantly smaller than expectation for a hotel room. Location involved getting a few taxi rides into town and added cost for wifi all added up to being more expensive than getting a place closer to town. Wouldn't recommend.

Lovely hotel but a few minor hiccups

This is a nice spot considering the lack of competitively priced hotels for individual travelers in Leipzig. My one real criticism would be the lack of air conditioning, and on one of the evenings I returned to see that housekeeping had removed my old towels, but not replaced them with a clean set. Good value for the price, but a bit outside of the main centre (50 min walk).

Great Hotel

I came to Leipzig for a friend's wedding and stayed with my fiance in this hotel. The hotel is quite large and the breakfast was amazing, possibly even the highlight. The room we stayed in was a normal one for two, and the room and bathroom were both very clean. The bed was large and took up a good amount of space in the room, but I was not there to sit around in my room. Nights were quiet and there was a nice fitness room too. It is about 10-15 minutes from the city center depending on which tram stop you get off at. If I travel back to Leipzig I will definitely be staying in this hotel again.

Das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig-Fugen schwarz. Ansonsten ist die Lage top für Radtouren zu dem Clara-Zetkin-Park und den Cospudener See bzw die Innenstadt. Frühstück perfekt-für jeden was dabei. Personal sehr freundlich.

Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen

m Großen und Ganzen reicht es aus um dort zu schlafen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, es ist alles vorhanden. Leider wäre eine Renovierung dringend nötig. In meinem Zimmer waren an der Decker altere Wasserflecken. Leider stand beim Duschen das gesamte Bad unter Wasser. Anstatt eines Duschvorhanges, wäre eine feste Falttür besser, die den Rand abschließt und Hygenischer.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer muss dringend überholt werden. Alles ist alt. Es darf nicht sein, dass ein Doppelbett an der Wand steht un eine Person immer reinkrabbeln muss. Vie Staub in den Ecken.

Zentral, preiswert, laut, schmuddelig.

Dieses Hotel ist genau falsch für diejenigen, die Leipzig besuchen um nachts komfortabel zu schlafen und tagsüber Leipzig zu erleben/zu arbeiten. Die Hotel-Kneipe hatte die Raucher-Ecke im Innenhof, weshalb es zur Hauptstraße vermutlich ruhiger und qualmfreier gewesen wäre. An Schlaf ist hier nur zu denken, wenn man selbst sturztrunken ist. Die Matratze ist okay, das Bett ist wie in den 90ern üblich mit Holz ummantelt, so dass man (ich bin 1,80m) den unteren Abschluss immer füßelt - mit dem Bild vor Augen, dass das ja jedem passiert. Der Teppich ist fleckig, Gebrauchsspuren an den Tapeten, im Bad am Türrahmen sind (hoffentlich) Farbspuren, die Fließen sind ebenfalls extrem verbraucht. Generell hat es sich nicht gut gereinigt und gepflegt angefühlt. Also alles, was betrunken nicht schlimm ist, nüchtern schon. Leider geht man dann auch schon unentspannt ans Frühstücksbuffet und erlebt dort das nächste 90er Jahre Setting an Dekor und Einrichtung, neben irgendwelchen Typen, die barfuß in Schlappen sich die Wurst auf den Teller schieben. Achja, Wlan ist kostenpflichtig, kostenfrei hingegen liegt auf dem Zimmer ein Lan Kabel bereit. 90er Style eben.

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer ohne jeglichen bekannten Komfort eines vier Sterne Hotels. Das Rollo verdunkelte das Zimmer kaum, so dass bei Tagesanbruch nicht mehr geschlafen werden konnte. Es war allerdings sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen.
