We received a warm welcome and our room was large and very comfortable, plus a lovely bath to soak in after our 12 mile walk. Restaurant staff were attentive and food was good. Breakfast too! We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely building, in a fantastic location, with excellent parking. Comfortable beds and terrific shower. Breakfast was amazing also was the evening meal. Only complaint if any areas of the stairwell in need of decoration, plaster bubbling, but thatโ€™s probably due to the buildings age in part.

Stayed one night before Air Tattoo as close to Air base. Very reasonably priced given it's in the heart of the Cotswolds. Staff freindly, room excellent.

Good staff and great food.

The room is in good shape, but a little old. People are very helpful and friendly. Funny story, we ate both dinner and breakfast there .. they don't do special instructions very well. I asked for a medium rate steak and got well done, (but very tender) and at breakfast i asked for an egg fried hard and got runny. Minor blips, but service was great and very central location, bordering the river. Food was very lush.

Great stop on the Thames Path

Solo Thames Path walker. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good for evening meal and breakfast. The price was reasonable and the location spot on. The room I was in was a little noisy, being above the bar and on the frontage but Iโ€™โ€™ sure other rooms are fine and it did not stop me getting a good sleep.

For what we wanted the property was ok. However as we stayed in one of the courtyard rooms with a table situated right outside our windows there was more noise than was ideal. So not the restful stay we had hoped for. The staff were good and the breakfast reasonable quality (except the coffee) and good value if bought as part of the room rate
