Comfortable, Clean, Friendly Hotel

I stayed at the Wyndam Super 8 in Atchison, Kansas recently when attending a high school class reunion. The staff at this hotel were all very friendly and helpful. My room was large and very clean. Even though the hotel was completely full, it was quiet and peaceful. Climate control was perfect. They offered a complimentary breakfast with a nice variety. Parking was safe and close to the building. I would definitely recommend this hotel based on what I have already stated, plus a great value for my money.

This place has potential, but it is very outdated and in need of repair. The shower curtain had a strong odor that hits as soon as you walk in the door. Bathroom tile desperately needs replaced. Toilet flushed very slowly... wondered if it was going to flush at all. The gentleman at check-in obviously disliked his job and was not at all forthcoming with any information during the check-in process.

I liked the decor in the registration area. The staff was helpful with restaurants near the hotel. We have a very long trailer and they showed us where we could park. The room was very nice.

The staff were great. The rooms were old and not properly maintained. Our room did not have a refrigerator. The website states breakfast included, but the breakfast was toast, cereal , and the only hot item was waffles. I do not think I will stay there again.

Old and outdated.

The hotel is old and outdated. The moment you come into the lobby, the smell of "old" hits you. It appears that the owners attempted to spruce it up with inexpensive paint, subpar repairs, and outdated furniture. The room smelled like humidity or mold brewing from the AC wall unit. The only updated item was the TV! The bathroom was dirty, poorly kept, and for some reason, we were assigned a handicap shower (for a wheelchair) and dirty. There was only a large shower towel for two people! Most definitely, we do not plan to stay here again.

No coffee in room. Assigned us our room and when entering, the room was already taken and occupant was as startled as we were. Room wreaked of “old” smell. Included breakfast consisted only of waffles and muffins. Nothing more

Never again!

First off, sent to room already occupied...secondly, the room rented next smelled of mildew....opened window hoped to get better never did...floor was damp caused socks to turn black....wanted a rollaway bed as website said they provide was told they don't have them....they were not able to provide proper amount of towels....their "super charged" breakfast consists of one waffle maker, cereal and mushy muffins in plastic bags....
