"Excellent B&B with good facilities"
Check in at arrrival was fast, room was very modern and equipped with facilities tv and wifi. Room was clean and was generally finished to a high standard. Location is quiet and there are many places to eat nearby. Owners were fantastic, couldn't do enough for you, really friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast included was of high standard and I would definetly recommend and would rebook if returning to the area again.

Palm Court Hotel

"Quiet location"
Our welcome at the hotel was very warm and friendly. There is no elevator in the building so we had to climb stairs to our room with two cases each. Our room was very small, with a view of a roof/wall type thing within a metre from the window but that didn't bother us terribly as we had plans to be sightseeing most of the time. The only form of air conditioning was the window being open at the top, and the hotel provides a fan in the room, too. As the weather was very warm during our stay we found this a little uncomfortable. The bathroom was very well appointed and clean and the bed extremely comfortable.

Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel & Spa

South Deeside Road, Aberdeen - Map
"Hotel Overview"
We arrived during a family fun day so it was quite busy and noisy with paper debris flying around the front entrance. It took a while for a bellman to get our luggage. Our bedrooms were a hike from the lift and reception/common areas so if anyone has walking issues, request a room nearer to these. Breakfast was included in the prepaid package but there was some confusion about who we were - not part of a tour group - we were initially sent to a function room for our meal instead of the dining room. Soon corrected. The buffet assortment was good but several items were missing due to delays in the staff replenishing these. One needs to book a dinner reservation ahead of time or space/time might be an issue. We ended up having our first dinner in their bar/lounge. Bar beverage selections were somewhat limited in comparison to other locations we stayed in and because the Scotch Whisky bar was closed they had to walk our choices over to the main bar. Bartenders were very friendly but of the few there - a staffing issue again - needed to learn more about their drink choices. We had them trained before we left! Rooms were clean and bright with all amenities. Otherwise, a very lovely place with grand lounge areas and a nice spa/pool facility.

We had a pleasant enough stay however on journey home I received a text from my friend to ask if I'd enjoyed my birthday surprise? What was that I replied ? my friend had phoned the hotel the day before our arrival to book and pay breakfast for us. This was never passed on or mentioned. We paid our room and breakfast on departure, my friend had already paid the breakfast! She telephoned and got her money back but she was disappointed, as were we. A lovely surprise , spoilt!

"Central location, apartment has lots of space."
Clean and spacious apartment with very comfortable beds. Right in the middle of the city centre with a small car park for guests. There's a lovely courtyard where we sat to enjoy a drink (we had bought from the shops across the road) in the sun. The apartment was very warm when we arrived but quickly cooled down when we opened all the windows. Bring a tea towel for drying your dishes but they supply washing up liquid and a cloth. We'd stay again!

Laurencekirk is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Laurencekirk, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Laurencekirk hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
