Check in staff were very welcoming and same on check out. The windows in the room connected in a corner window to window. There was a leak of water running down with the heavy rain onto the sill. The heating was on when we arrived for awhile, then cold there after. It would not reset. We had a few small flies coming up the drain in the sink....it needs a clean.
Breakfast was very sparse. Had to ask a member of staff who wasnt the most pleasant for bread and sausages. ... After putting everything else on my plate she said chef says sausages will be 10 mins, which was almost 20mins. The staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than clean the abundance of tables that needed cleaned which ours needed on arrival. They seemed short staffed for the volume of guests. Fruit was sparce and bananas were brown. Yoghurt was like slop....one choice, mixed in a bowl....it was lilac with bits floating in it.....tasted awful. For the price it certainly was not worth paying for. Definitely wouldnt have it again, would eat elsewhere. I have stayed here on numerous occassions as its ideally situated but its getting less appealling im sorry to say
