Beautiful views, rooms were great too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negative I can think of is the shower wasnt the cleanest, and the tap on vanity leaks so had to keep mopping it up, but hopefully this is being remedied. The breakfast was fantastic, and heating works reslly well - we were nice and toasty the whole stay :)

Comfortable clean room for one night stay. Car parking was limited and access difficult in snowy conditions. Steps up to room were very icy and slippery but staff were trying to keep ice to minimum.

The room was fantastic. We liked how we could have seen stars at night through the hole in the roof. However it snowed overnight so we saw nothing. The view from our room was amazing. It included the lake too. Parking was just below. We were on level 2 but it felt like 3 because reception was on level 2. Breakfast in the morning was included too and it was unlimited bread bacon eggs and the usual western fare. The ladies there were very friendly too. It seemed like everyone was heading where we were heading so when others asked her about their route, we just listened in.

The property was superb! Clean and the staff were attentive to our needs. The views of the lake was amazing - especially with the snow! Will definitely book another stay here - hopefully in the summer!

Had a wonderful time at the Galaxy boutique hotel. Staff were incredible and service second to none. We go snowed in and everyone was out helping each other to get their cars out and the hotel kept everyone informed of road closures. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful hotel, great service. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay and even brought extra dishes to our room so we could have a cozy meal in our room. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Excellent hotel and well placed in Lake Tekapo. We were greeted by friendly staff who kindly showed us to room. Our room was located on the upper floor, so came with the skylight which allows you to star gaze. The views from the large window are stunning and is a huge plus when staying here. The beds were comfortable and provided a relaxing night's sleep. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order, whilst there is also a self-service area with toast, fruit and yoghurt. More than enough choice for my wife and I. The hotel is located around a 10 minute walk to the main bars/restaurants.

The location and view were amazing. We had a free breakfast delivered to our room every day and the food was fantastic. The star viewing skylight was good, but just keep in mind that you can’t see the stars as well if the moon is full, which it was when we were there. Also, this skylight tended to ice up a bit which affected the view of the stars.

It was well thought out from a guest perspective. Great views including a bedroom skylight with an electronic cover. The plumbing fixtures were top notch, as was the bedding. The free breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Best night's stay in NZ so far.
