I liked the room setup with kitchenette, living area and bedroom. The grounds were well cared for with flower beds, lush green lawn and pine trees. Pool area was inviting. Popcorn machine in lobby was fun for the kids. Staff at front desk and in breakfast room were friendly and polite.

While they were friendly, the front desk was very disorganized and unprofessional. Wrong room, only after consulting with management were they able to move us to the type of room we had reserved and paid for in advance. No apologies for inconvenience and acted as though we should be grateful. (It's not an upgrade if you've paid for it.) Maintenance and cleaning staff were active and pleasant - best part of the organization. But in the late night, a maintenance worker had been dispatched to our room. He didn't announce who he was before attempting to open our door. Scary! When I called to ensure that it wasn't just a stranger who tried to enter our room, I was told the fellow had been sent to a room a few doors down. Again, no responsibility for the misstep.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Americana Village. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Heavenly Village but within a walkable distance. I took advantage of all the amenities, especially the hot tub and sauna. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked this spot last minute and it ended up being so cute! It wasn't anything fancy but it was clean, nice staff and the property grounds were kept SO nice by the Gardner. We we obsessed with all of the flowers on the property. The only suggestion I have is getting AC units as it was pretty warm at night and fans could only help so much. Would stay again!

Okay for a 1-night stay

Bed was comfortable enough, but carpets need updating. Kitchenette and bathroom were very close quarters so wouldn’t recommend for a long stay but for our one night it was fine.

This property is like a home away from home! Family friendly, lots of activities to do for kids. Walking distance to the Heavenly Village. The kitchenette was a plus! Staff was accommodating. The lady at the breakfast area was nice even though she was working alone. We would definitely come back!

Very nice motel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Free bikes to borrow were a lot of fun. Daily activities available and free popcorn in the lobby were great and much appreciated. Would come back for sure.

We stayed a family of 4 for 2 nights. The property is a typical ski lodge , in a quiet area close to heavenly village. Boys took the queen bed and we slept on the pull out bed w inflated mattress.. not comfortable:( room was small and dated , but it served our needs. They can do better with offering breakfast… walking distance to all restaurants and shopping , convenient to explore lake Taho. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

This property is very well taken care of. Super nice staff and great amenities. The room was very clean although a bit outdated. We didn’t care. The parking is the only negative- there just isn’t enough and it’s pretty tight. I’d stay here again!

It was really nice. They had a lot of cute amenities like their daily activities for crafts and things you can borrow. I wish I was able to stay longer but if I ever stay in South Lake Tahoe again, I’d stay here :)
