The property is well maintained. The staff is very professional, friendly, and accommodating. My only complaint is that the shower pressure needs to be increased. Low water pressure in the showers made the showers longer to rinse off the shampoo and soap. Other than that, everything was great.

Quaint hotel

Hotel is dated but clean. Really close to hiking and the drive is short to shops and restaurants. My family and I were there for 4 days, 3 nights. Maid service never came in to replenish towels or coffee. Maybe I missed the memo they don’t do that? Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Also, parking is Valet only so we tipped every time our car was pulled up. Will try their sister hotel next year.

We had a great stay and will definitely be back again. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. We did have two incidents, our first morning we were trying heading out to the lake early but valet lost our car. The night staff didn’t write down where they parked our car for the morning staff and it took over half an hour and my husband going down to the parking structure with the valet guys to find it. The second morning however; we walked out to our car pulled up before we asked for it. We didn’t call ahead or anything, we were given no explanation on why our car was brought up without us asking for it. It was 10am which is check out time so we let it go since they were clearly overwhelmed and the morning valet guys truly were so kind. Besides that, everything else was great! Thank you all for a great stay!!

Have stayed here twice now. We picked it for the two room combo, for the children. Staff and vallet were great and friendly. Facilities were clean. Bed comfort was decent. The big negative comes from the old air conditioning system. The temperature in SLTahoe was in the mid to high 80s. In the room for my wife and myself the AC worked but was as loud as a freight train keeping us awake. Which was better than my children's room because their AC just blew air with no coldness to it. Using floor fans we got the temp to 76 in the middle of the night. Even hotter during the day. Children slept uncovered and sweaty. Called front desk both days. Both days we got the same technician. He tried his best, got it to work for 15 minutes then not at all again. As I said before, staff was friendly and promptly attempted to be helpful. But at this price point AC shouldn't be an issue.

The staff was great from the valet to the check in. Many amenities I wish we would have had time to use. The rooms was very nice spacious and clean. I would have preferred being closer to the lake but was only a short drive. During ski season this is probably a prime location considering it's proximity to the mountain.
