"Banff to Jasper relay"
I stayed at the Lake Louise Inn to be closer to the start of my leg. I ended up bringing my daughters dog so I had a pet room. The room was not as nice as I hoped and I was secluded from the main part of the Inn. I ordered room service and the customer service was great as was the food. The desk clerk was very professional and helpful.

"Great lodge on a great lakeā€¦"
I highly recommend Moraine Lake Lodge for its accommodations and proximity to the lake. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the lodge and its surroundings. Of the two lakes (Louise & Moraine), we were grateful we stayed at Moraine Lake Lodge as its lake and surrounding mountains and its hiking trails were more appealing and less touristy.

Emerald Lake Lodge

Emerald Lake Road, Field - Map
"Great Location, tired room."
The room we were in was in desperate need of an upgrade. The carpet was thereadbare and the bathroom sink tap was broken. The whole room was crying out for an update. Having an open fire in the room meant that the walls and cieling were smoke blackended. The room was comfortable and clean. It was disappointing that the room was blocked off from a beautiful view accross the lake by trees. There is no wifi in the room and the signal at the reception building itself is dial-up speed at best. There is no mobile phone connection. THe worst aspect of the hotel, by far is the breakfast. The eggs were tasteless and so pale it was hard to distinguish between the yolk and the egg white! A bit of an exageration but you know where I am going. The sausage, sourced from their own farm, was inedible. The breakfast order was incomplete and we both had to chase up the outstanding items. The restaurant was far to warm on the day we used it for breakfast, open to full sun and the heating was on full. The second day we went to Field for breakfast!

Deer Lodge - Lake Louise Hotels

Deer Lodge

109 Lake Louise Drive, Lake Louise - Map
"Great location and staff in 100 year old building"
We stayed in the nearly 100 year old lodge one night. For someone who appreciates history, you'll appreciate the undeniable charm of these rooms and decor. However, if you really prefer a more modern look or features (for instance, a shower), you may want to request a room in the newer addition of the lodge. We had a few travel plan changes during our stay at Deer Lodge and inquired about cancelling or switching our reservation to a different CRMR property at the front desk after our first night. The manager was incredibly understanding and accommodating. She offered to move our reservation or upgrade our room. We ended up upgrading and, boy, was that worth it. Our room on the second night of our stay was absolutely beautiful. Very comfortable bed, huge room, CLEAN clean clean bathroom, and --best of all--a balcony with a direct view of the mountains surrounding Lake Louise. If you have the option to stay in the newer building and don't care much for clawfoot tub-only bathing, definitely do so. Both of our rooms during our stay were great, just different vibes for both. All in all, we had a fantastic stay. The lodge itself is really charming and has a wonderful history. The Caribou lounge and games room in the basement are fun little treats to explore. Make sure to check out the many old photographs! You cannot beat this location. It's a mere 5 minute walk from Lake Louise and feels a little more rustic and genuine than the Fairmont (just saying)

"Pretty little rustic cabin"
Lovely little cabin, perfect if you want the peace and quiet of the "middle of nowhere". However although it is classed as Golden BC it is about 40k away from Golden down a lengthy bumpy logging road (easy to miss at night). Beautiful place but for our purpose on this trip (a stopover en route to Vancouver) it was a bit too off the beaten track.

Perfect location, halfway in between Banff and Lake Louise and away from all the people! Right off the Bow Valley Parkway, so saw tons of wildlife coming and going. Lake Louise is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lake Louise, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lake Louise hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
