Room smells very old or moldy

There are many nice touches about the gold experience. The lounge and snacks were great. The rooms are nice, but past their prime.

The property is kept very well. Beautiful carved stone a must to walk through inside. The room was a nice size (King bed). The room smelled a little musty and humid. Furniture a little dated. Staff where friendly and helpful. Loved meeting Stuart the hotel ambassador. Perfect location to canal and parks as well as parliament buildings.

The Metcalfe Hotel in Ottawa was fantastic for our one night getaway. Front desk staff provided great service from the moment we arrived, and the dining experience was equally standout, the floor manager even made a point to come out during breakfast service to ask how everything was. The rooms are modern and stylish, featuring quality bath products and a comfortable, firm bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The overall amenities on site looked excellent, though our quick stay didn't leave us with enough time to fully take advantage of them all. Quick tip: Instead of paying the $45 hotel parking rate, we parked down the street at Ottawa City Hall for about $25, which was convenient and budget-friendly. Highly recommended!

All went really well

Nice hotel. Close to golf course. Bed was very comfortable and sheets were great. Was a quick stop, in and out, so didn't try the amenities but all good from my brief experience.
