Convenient location and free drinks until 10pm. Room was spacious and had a nice view. They have coin laundromat in different floors so it's convenient and you can check the status via the room tv. Great stay overall

The property was in a great location, approximately a 5 minute walk from the Kyoto station. Many restaurants and convenient stores around the area. Compared to the other hotels in Japan, I thought the room was quite spacious, especially for a room with a double bed. The staff were kind and helpful. Many free amenities. They provided pyjamas and a basket for when you want to use the onsen. The hotel and our room was clean. Although the area is busy, it wasn't loud. The only downside was the laundry machine, there is only one machine per floor and it was always occupied. Thankfully there is a 24h laundromat across the street. Overall, I think the hotel is worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone who is planning to staying in Kyoto.

Great staffs - attentive and helpful. Nice lounge area for relaxing. Overall the rooms, lobby, dining and spa were clean, with the exception of the floor to the entrance of our room which had stains and looked dirty. Not terrible but didn't seem up to the standards of the rest of the property. We mentioned this to the front desk and they immediately sent up a worker to inspect the issue and take pictures. They seemed to spend extra time cleaning the room afterwards so their response was greatly appreciated. We stayed here 3 nights and would recommend this hotel.

Our party of 5 occupied 2 rooms and we so appreciate their hardworking staff. The rooms are not large but they are adequate. Just a 10 minute walk to the Kyoto station and a convenient store on the corner was helpful. We were provided cotton 2-piece outfits (happi coat) and slippers to use the onsen - but forgot we needed to bring our own towel. The communal onsen was a serene indoor environment and made for a nice evening to heal the body. I needed to contract the luggage delivery service and learned they use the Yamato service which only accepts cash, We were able to get our 8 pieces to Tokyo for about $200. The front desk staff speak very good English but other staff members (bartender, bellhop etc) do not but we managed with Google translate. If I return I’d definitely consider this hotel.

Clean, modern, and comfortable- spacious rooms with excellent amenities, all for a great price. Two blocks from Kyoto station, it was so convenient to be centrally located between all major attractions. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Great hotel, but rooms facing inwards have frosted glass and no view making them feel a little claustrophobic. Recommend paying the extra for a room with view out of the hotel.

Great hotel to stay at in Kyoto!

We just stayed one night in Kyoto but the hotel was so good that we wished we had stayed longer :). We chose it on account of proximity to the train station and where our Kyoto day tour started. However it was very comfortable, they provided a locker facility for our luggage without any additional fee after we checked out and the room was prepared in advance for us including as needed to accommodate our child. The staff is friendly and we would love to visit again.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of Kyoto Station. This is the main draw of this hotel, giving you easy access to the rest of the city. The hotel is located on the station's south side, which is much quieter than the north side. This may be a benefit if you want to be further away from the hustle and bustle. We booked a 3 bed room for a 3 person family. The room was okay. Room enough for 3 beds and a small table, but not much else. There was a distinct lack of surfaces for us to put "stuff" on. The room really needed some sort of side table or console for tourists to dump their things onto when coming back from a long day sightseeing. This is a small thing but really starts to grate on you after a few days. Breakfast was decent. A small buffet selection, but everything was tasty and fresh. Overall we had a good stay but the room was a little small.

Luxury and Calm in a very busy city.

I could not find fault with this hotel it is the epitome of luxury, Calm and comfort, The room was perfect from the decor to the extremely comfortable beds. The hotel is situated about 150 yards from Kyotos main train station on the opposite side to the Kyoto tower. The reception on the 3rd floor is accessed by street level escalators. And after your daily excursions when returning to the hotel you can go to the guest lounge on the 3rd floor and have free soft drinks or beverages. Most floors have a room near the lifts that have soft drink machines or alcohol machines. The hotel does have a bar and restaurant but we never used them. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and recharge your batteries this is the hotel for you.
