I like everything about the place and the people who work they are so friendly, and the breakfast every morning was great. The one thing I did not like was that it takes 3 days to change the bed; otherwise,e the best place to go when you visit Japan. I am going to take my family next time there, too. I want to thank everyone who works there. They are the best.

Very convenient location. A few minutes from sanjo train station and buses. Walkable to gion and shopping. In a quiet street and they offer free drinks at the cafe throughout the day. I highly recommend.

This was a great hotel overall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and rooms are bigger than typical Japanese hotels. The breakfast is surprisingly really good and well worth it. Free drinks from 12pm-8pm which was great when checking in. Microwaves in common area as well. Walkable to Gion, Nishiki market and metro. There are several local restaurants to eat and convenience stores close by. Quiet residential area with nice big Buddhists temple close by. Highly recommended!!!

great location (close to station, centre and was quiet), friendly and attentive staff that was available 24/7, buffet was delicious (japanese and western menu), spacious and clean room, goodies available (hair tie, pocket hairbrush etc… and appliances to to borrow like iron and nightwear etc…), laundry and drying machine available 24/7 and free drinks available from 12pm to 10pm. overall, great hotel, i recommend.

A nice room and hotel that was pretty close to the train station. Staff were nice. Only thing we didn’t like was that water wasn’t available during the morning because of the breakfast service. But it wasn’t that big of a deal.

We spent four nights in the Hotel Wing International while we had a family trip to Kyoto. The hotel is near to subway station, and is very convenient to go to many attractions. The beds are clean and comfortable. The room is quiet and the breakfast is good. We are satisfied with this property.

Good location for my agenda (East of the River). I appreciate the effort put into making breakfast available, not essential but it was nice. It is a 10 minute walk from the major tourist strips, which is a very good thing in my opinion. The mattresses are on the firm side, and the AC was possessed, but otherwise the rooms are excellent with a great bathroom and very spacious. I was on my own but the room would serve two people comfortably. I have seen some very bad reviews here regarding rude staff, I can only attribute this to very bad luck (or manners), as I have stayed here twice and the staff have always been extremely obliging , friendly and professional. I travel to Kyoto about once a year, and will continue to return to this hotel. Thanks.

The hotel was nice enough, it was the 'rules' that were goofy. If you didn't buy the breakfast you not allowed into the dining area for any reason - no coffee, no ice, no water. Then, the same little area was closed at 10pm. So, traveling with a group in various tiny rooms, we opted to gather (3 of us) in the lobby. We were not allowed at play cards in the dining area. There was no other place to gather. Kind of odd and irritating. Other than one staff member following me like a hawk when I went into the dining area to throw my trash -- the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
