Slow at checking in. The staff didn’t mention that a deposit was required on your credit card for purchases put on your room. No bedside cabinet on one side of the bed. Meal at the pond was Luke warm and I’d finished my meal before my travelling companions were served. Cocktails were ordinary at best. Won’t be going back. Septi from staff was excellent.

We had the best time at this resort! Everything was accessible- shopping, dining, etc. The buffet breakfast is outstanding. There are activities and entertainment every day. We would definitely stay here again if it wasnt a 20+ hour journey.

This was our sevond stat at Kartika. It was excellent again. A close hotel to the airport for when you're arriving late at night. The breakfast is always delicious and a beautiful garden and pools to enjoy too. We love our stsys here!

The second glass of tap water ordered at any restaurant on the property has a charge.The first glass of tap water is free. The service taxes are very high compared to dining options across the street. Our transportation complained that they could not park for more then a few seconds, then would have to drive to a parking lot at front end of property and pay for parking if they had to wait a few mins for us. We had a complaint at one of the restaurants. They forgot a main meal for myself. So we ordered it again about 30 mins later. It was super late, the waitress then came with the meal approx 1-1.5 hrs after we first ordered, and was laughing saying it was late because the cook burnt the fries and had to redo them.. We then asked of it to-go, and first they did not understand.They did pack it up and I ate my meal cold in the room.On our first night, at the Aged Steak house. It was expensive but good,my friend watched a very large cockroach at the next table. The cockroach, he said, almost crawled into the ladies sandal sitting there. We did not go back to the steak house on property. On the last day a tailor dropped off my clothing at the front desk. I had called prior to front hotel staff keep on a look out for the tailor, and that we were sitting near the desk waiting. I called the tailor and he said it was dropped off, I asked the lady at fhe front, 'no nothing", I persisted and it was dropped off. We left for the airport following.

This was the first time staying at the discovery and overall the experience was amazing. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, they are such a credit to the hotel and they do their absloute best to make sure the guests are taken care of. The pool area and bar was beautiful along with the beach front bar. The only thing is that the bathrooms in the rooms are a little old and could do with a refresh. Overall my partner and I loved this hotel and will definitely be back again for another stay! Would recommend
