Hotel and the amenities are fabulous! The attention to detail with everything is amazing. Staff are so lovely and helpful. We felt incredibly safe. Food is abundant and well presented. Couldn't rate it highly enough.

The Hanging Gardens of Bali is without a doubt, one of the most luxurious hotels in Bali. Set in a jungle landscape it also offers a completely different outlook to other locations that Bali has to offer.
Whether you are staying for a one night treat, or a 7 day stretch, the cost is certainly relative to what is on offer & even though it is on the high side, we would recommend at least a one night stopover to experience this unique setting.
As you would expect, the food & treatments are on the high side as well but this is definitely outweighed by the surrounding landscape & well arranged rooms, along with the attentive staff.
If you do choose to stay here, we did 3 nights, definitely arrange the complementary morning tour, it's a must to experience the authentic side of the local life.

Excellent stay. The hotel is situated just outside of ubud nestled in a quite jungle like setting, overlooking a small Valley. Very beautiful and relaxing.
Our room was very spacious with one hell of a view.
The staff was awesome, very friendly and accommodating. And they make awesome banana pancakes.
Bonus, the hotel has motorbikes for rent which worked out great because the rice terraces are just a half a mile north from here.

The location is the best in ubud and probably bali - I've been to bali three times and to numerous hotels in all district and this has the best view hands down. The rooms, however, are dated and towels and sheets are old. The rooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation. The service is not great and breakfast is very simple. Pool was very dated as well. The private pools in the villas are not heated. But they have the best spa I've been to in the world. L'occitane spa is incredible and I would honestly just stay there again for it.
