The hotel itself was fine, but unfortunately it does not meet the latest standards, which is a shame as it could do with a little touch-up. The gym wasn't that useful, but the pool and sauna looked good. The breakfast was very good, with lots of different options.

I didn't see room service as an option, no real kitchen, just breakfast ( which is outstanding delicious), so bring snacks or go out and eat. There's a market close by, but remy, just snacks, no microwave to cook anything.

Good location for Europa Park visitors. The restaurant and patio at the hotel are excellent. Lots of food options walking distance but not much else if that matters to you. Uber isn’t really available but transit is reasonably easy to figure out.

We loved how easy it was to take the S Bahn and walk across the path to the hotel. It could not be easier/shorter distance. Nicely maintained hotel. Lovely proximity to walk down Main Street of Echterdingen. In general the room was clean and comfortable with general amenities. Except the AC was not working and it was roasting in our room. We called the front desk as soon as we checked in and they told us just to wait, it takes time…we sweated through the night. The next day a German friend we were visiting called the front desk when she learned we had no AC. They told her they had some technical problems and would put a fan in our room for our second night. Somehow the AC in the lobby was working. In a hotel that size, were there really no rooms to move us to with functioning AC?

I only stayed one night and it's was quiet and good air while traveling in the heat.
