Dorsett hotel is a few minutes walk from shopping malls and markets. Generally beds were comfortable and aminities( sachets of coffee, tea and milk) provided daily. Would rebook.

We had a great time in Kuala Lumpur! The hotel is across from the ritz Carlton and Tribeca, 2 blocks from the Pavilion shopping center, where you have access to the MRT. We got upgraded and had a wonderful view of the city and buildings around! Thank you 🙏😊

There was really nothing 5star about this property. I was really hoping for more. And to top all of it the last night the bell men tried delivering someone else’s luggage to my room at 2am in the morning and kept ringing the bell. And then I try to sleep again and the front desk calls me at 2:10am to say sorry when I was trying to sleep again. Spoilt my whole night of sleep. And I had to catch a flight the next day.

Hotel was clean, room was nice & spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a variety of foods, didn't change much though so got a bit bored with same things. Hotel is in a good location. Did feel disappointed with a day trip we did at the counter with the lady, she said it was a good place for shopping & then you could get a cable car. Shopping was not good & cable car wasn't working for 2 weeks, feel we wasted our money as wasn't worth the amount charged.

Top on all accounts, incl eco-friendliness

Excellence on all accounts! Front desk and staff friendly, professional, attentive, helpful, doing their very best so that the stay would be first class. And the ecofriendliness (especially in terms of avoiding plastic) was brought to highest standards, including a special tap in the bathroom for filtered water. Moreover a genious way of encouraging guest to save the planet was introduced - if the guest relinquished housekeeping (change of bedsheets towels etc ) for a day you got a voucher to the vending machine in the lobby. The room standard excellent, clean, spacey, great amenities. Breakfast included a vast variety of delicious foods from various food cultures. The excellent standard of staff was further shown when I had forgotten my phone charger in the room upon checkout and when I came back one week later and told I had most likely forgotten it, it was easily found in the registry for lost and found - and in just 10 minutes it was delivered to me! And the location is excellent!!! I so much loved the service and conditions so much that I decided to come back for a night on my return (just one night plus half a day) journey to Kuala Lumpur. And will definitely come back next time again.

Everything absolutely tops, service (especially at the front desk!), location, breakfast, cleanliness etc including the ecofriendliness with filtered water from a tap in the room instead of plastic or glass bottles and encouraging us to ask for ‘no room service (read no change of sheets and towels etc each day) by giving a small reward - genius!

Extremely quiet location next to Ritz Carlton & JW Marriott property. 10mins walk to the shopping belt. Breakfast definitely room for improvement as 2 mornings same old dishes. For the Dorsett room we stayed in, no hand and face towels. Filtered tap for drinking water which is a . Suitable for those looking to shop.
