"Rooms in the tower need updating"
Overall ok, maid staff very good, check in had a long line. Corrosion on sliding door to deck made opening difficult, shutters heavy also.

"Very clean. Older Hawaiian style hotel - charming."
Love the older Hawaiian style 50s/60d hotels. Very nice restaurant within walking distance and upper level has ocean views. Check out the older Kona market on the water walk as well as the Palace now a wonderful museum. Enjoy a step back in time.

"Nice hotel with beautiful tropical grounds"
The hotel entry was amazing and staff very pleasant. View from walkways to room was breathtakingly beautiful with lush floral displays, tall palms, salt water pools and tropical plants. Happy little turtles and bright colored fish added to the magical morning walk down to breakfast, the pool and the beach. Snorkel equipment was better than surrounding hotels. The covered beach lounge chairs were an awesome inclusion that most hotels charge extra for. The pool was a bit smaller than we'd have liked but the hottubs were bigger than normal so it was a fair trade. Parking was adequate. Food was expensive but delicious. I had the chorizo breakfast tacos and they were amazing. My daughter had the buffet and it had wonderful fruit selection as well as good choices of hot items such as bacon, French toast, sausage and rice. Grocery was nearby, as were shops. Beach was very short walk from room. No complaints except mattress could have been better quality.

"Wonderful view. Clean and comfortable."
Would stay here again. Secure underground parking. Priceless view of ocean. Nicely appointed kitchen. Washer and dryer. Great being able to make your own food if you want, and to wash clothes as needed a definite plus. Very nice pool area with barbecues. Daily maid service. Sooo much better than a hotel.

"Close to amenities and restaurants."
Nice spot. We got some pretty crazy weather so we probably didn't get out as much in the area as we'd have liked. Great to wander out by the shoreline and watch just sealife in the little rock pools. Convenient to wander out and get meals (if you don't want to take a car out constantly)

"Great Location"
The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a downstairs unit and the noise from upstairs was sometimes annoying. If you can do stairs get an upstairs unit. Pool area was nice and we saw lots of people using the BBQ area. Quiet complex with lots of breeze to keep you cool. We would stay here again.

"Clean, good location"
Great condo, loved the patios, and that we could open both to have a nice cross breeze. Wonderful to hear the ocean at night! Full appliances, and TV with cable and DVD player added to the home feel. Community BBQ was nice to be able to use, and the pools were a nice touch to take a evening dip in. The decor in our unit could have used updating, but it was clean and homey. Good location to commute into Kona, and south. Would stay here again

"Great place, close to where we needed to be!"
Since our flight was LANDING after check-in hours, I called to see how we'd handle that. They very graciously left a key in a lockbox on the door, AND gave driving directions to get there from the airport! Not only was the condo nice and clean, and ROOMY, but they included beach chairs and mats, snorkeling gear, and sand toys for the kids! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The BBQs near the pool area were really nice and plentiful (we met and BBQ'd with some other couples, and there were more than enough grills for us and another army). We'll definitely be back if we come here again (which is highly likely)!

Kona Coast is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kona Coast, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kona Coast hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
