"Scenic location on lava shelf with amazing views"
Older hotel that has been totally updated with 2 huge gorgeous pools, hot tubs, waterfalls & giant slide. Sheraton includes many acres of gardens, walkways along the ocean, gorgeous sunset views and even a beautiful little chapel on the grounds. The rooms are spacious with lanais, premium bedding and the hotel offers everything you could possibly need from shops to restaurants to activities. There is a huge lighted viewing platform to watch the giant mantas for free and the views from the open lobby to Keahou Bay are spectacular. You are away from the crowds around Kona and the value is unmatched. We have stayed here repeatedly and will return!

"Excellent service beautiful hotel"
The hotel is breathtaking! Amazing views of the water everywhere you go! The service is excellent, anytime we had any questions or concerns, the staff was kind and took car of everything. One night we had a luau booked but Expedia messed up the reservation, we simply asked the staff to move us to another day and they did with no hassle!

"Condo in Wiakoloa Village"
The Paniolo Greens at Wiakoloa Village was a mixed experience. The front desk was helpful and let us check in early rather than waiting for the 4 pm check in time. The condo was on the second floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 3rd floor. Overall the condo was perfect in size with all the amenities needed for a long term vacation. My only complaint would be that the condo need some updating. The carpet was stained and old, especially on the stairs. The cabinets in the kitchen are made of particle board and are showing their wear. We used the pool area which was nice. There is a large hot tub, small pool, and a tennis court. I would recommend Paniolo Greens for families who want more space. It is 6 miles off the main highway, up on the hillside with beautiful views. It is a quick drive to the beach. There is a small shopping center with a market about 1/2 mile up the road.

"The perfect Get Away BnB."
The Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast experience was wonderful for both my wife and myself. Arriving from Kona airport, you only need to drive up the side of the mountain about 10-15 minutes and you're in the midst of an amazing array of coffee plants and fruit trees. We were greeted by Abby, the farm's dog and Inky, one of the cats. The owner and proprietor, Hans was there to explain the common area, wifi and bedroom. He was a very friendly and open individual and it was clear that he would look after us during our stay. Our bedroom was freshly made with a wonderful breeze coming in from the patio that has a lovely ocean view (you can see the airport, but can't hear the planes). The bathroom was also very clean with fresh towels ready to go. My wife and I enjoyed the morning breakfasts with the other guests and Hans and his wife Marsha very much. Always freshly made local food with an Hawaiian twist. We had the opportunity to use the grill outside to make some dinner as well. Supermarkets and the Farmers Market are a 15 minute drive down towards Kona. From the B&B, we had easy driving access to the whole island. Go left from the farm and you head towards the South Kona coast (great snorkeling areas) and go right and you can hit the North of the island, or take the Saddle Road East towards Hilo. Overall we are very pleased and happy with our experience on the Lyman Coffee Farm. The 'WOOFER' volunteers that were there to help also had a hand in our welcome.

"It is nice and close to the beach. There is a pool"
We swam in the water every day. The beach was really close. There is a pool and a hot tub that we swam in every day after we had been at the beach. They were both very relaxing. The area where this hotel is was convenient to all the shops and restaurants and the beaches. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

"Nice place, great for families!"
Great spacious place, that is located in the Mauna Lani Resort. Pictures did not do justice on how nice and open the condo/house is. The area and surrounding condos/houses is very peaceful and quiet. Great for a family stay. The staff were very friendly and so was the housekeeping. One downside was that the wifi at our place wasn't working, but out in paradise you need distractions. Although it would have been nice to have wifi, because it was hard getting signal with our phones. Overall great experience and place to stay! We would totally come back!

"we stay there once a year for the past 6 years."
We stayed for 14 days we go once a year and always hit all the different beaches and go south stop at the famous backery then black sands, south point and then on to the volcano. Then when you go north that has all the white sandy beaches we love the big inland. As far as the condo we always eat a good breakfast before leaving for the day.

"Great centrally located property."
I've been to the Big Island several times and have always opted for the larger beach resorts. This turned out to be a far more relaxing choice. Daniel and Robert are excellent hosts. The grounds were impeccable as were the spacious suites. The incredible breakfast spreads (included) would run $50 per person at a resort. Definitely, consider staying here.

Kona Coast is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kona Coast, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kona Coast hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
