We were in the penthouse and it was fabulous!

The Blue Elk Inn is a winner! Great location (across the street from the alpine coaster). Lovely property. The back garden was a beautiful spot for breakfast, with lots of cute bird feeders, and a cute little stage area. My husband really enjoyed the saunas, and we both enjoyed the comfy bed and super clean room. I would have given 5 stars, except the a/c was rather loud, and we had to keep it on all night. We were on the ground level, and the only window in the room faced the parking lot. If we opened that up, anyone walking by could look right into us while we were sleeping. It was a minor issue though, and we will definitely stay here again!

A unique and charming hotel experience! There is no traditional lobby or reception desk—just clear instructions and access codes to enter the property and your room, making the check-in process simple and hassle-free. The room was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with beautiful decor and a lovely ambiance that made it feel warm and inviting. A big plus was the cozy nook overlooking the river, which added a special touch to the stay. All rooms have access to a patio with stunning river views, along with multiple seating options where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a wonderful place with a unique concept, beautiful rooms, and a peaceful riverside atmosphere. Highly recommended!
