First of all couldn't connect fire stick to internet. Told staff said maintenance would come never did. Breakfast was decent way overpriced. Unfortunately friend found big flying cockroach in blinds. Palmetto bug it's called. Didn't inform desk way tell them didn't do anything about internet.

If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast vs a continental menu. We met one of the owners and he was gracious with his time and key historical notes regarding the house and previous owners.

I would return to Greensboro just to stay at Proximity. You can tell it is employee owned by the authentic care and kindness of the staff (who waved goodbye to us from the front steps). The interior design is fantastic for family visits, with unique pods and floor level living rooms. Big, quiet rooms and beautiful bathrooms, and those luxury white towels! The restaurant is STAFFED for a pleasant dining experience, and it’s just gorgeous. This hotel made our girls getaway above and beyond spectacular,

The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were well prepared and delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar and restaurant and spent a good part of the night there with guests. It is hard to find a comfortable hotel bed but ours was very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again.

The property is overdue for a refresh and the beds are very uncomfortable and hard. Minimal bed linens and worn pillows. The complimentary breakfast is more limited than at most hotels but the coffee was good. The hotel accepts pets so barking dogs were heard throughout the facility.

I had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming getaway. The hosts were friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived—they made me feel right at home and were always happy to offer recommendations or assist with anything I needed. The house itself is absolutely charming, with a warm, inviting feel and lots of thoughtful details that make it special. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a bed that made it easy to get a great night’s sleep. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. It was the perfect way to start the day. Overall, this is exactly what you hope for in a bed and breakfast: great hospitality, a comfortable stay, and a homey, relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again!
