We found PUR after arriving on the island and realizing our original accommodations weren’t what we had hoped for. We couldn’t be happier with our stay! The staff is absolutely fantastic, and the bartenders are amazing. You’ll especially love Lucy, Flor, and Marlin. They will take incredible care of you! We absolutely loved the intimate, boutique-style resort and the personal attention from the entire team. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay special. From booking dinner reservations to arranging a replacement golf cart when they noticed ours was leaking gas, to finding us a ride to the airport during heavy rain, the staff consistently went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. It’s that level of personal service and genuine hospitality that makes PUR so special. We’re so glad we found this place, and we can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful, intimate resort where you feel truly cared for, PUR is the place to stay!

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. We were the only guests on the property which we found to be odd. You couldn’t eat outside or sit on the beach because of the insects. On the positive side, the staff was outstanding, and tended to our every need. The snorkeling was spectacular and the best we’ve ever experienced. Our guide and captain the best.
