This Ramada is TRASH, STAY AWAY!! GO TO SANDMAN. First of all, I came here expecting a pool for my 7 year old daughter. They had it closed. Second of all. We booked 2 nights but got there late so the second day after a 9 hour drive from Calgary i was awakened to guys ripping the roof apart and throwing it into a bin. It was really loud. The construction started at 9am and we received a notice at 11am saying this was happening. Third of all, i caught a crackhead trying to break into my car and almost caught an assault charge. The worst vacation experience ever. We should have stayed at the sandman 20 feet away. They have security and a Dennys. This Ramada is trash

The Hotel is walking distance to mall , restaurants and few minutes drive to water front . Place is old , there’s a rip on the sofa/chair and visible stain . We found used cigarette in chair crevece and hairs on the beddings . The fan in the bathroom and aircon were noisy . Bathroom appears clean and pillows were comfy .

The pool was cold. There were tiles missing at one corner of the pool, which is a safety concern. The pool water looked dirty. A couple of inches above the water level on the tiles was dirty and grimy and you could see that kids scratched their names in the dirt.

Good for the basics

The construction was quite noisy and continued past the time they said it would and there was a lot of noise from the hallway (kids playing hockey in the hall for the afternoon) but the room seemed clean. No microwave in the room but we used one in the lobby. It would have been nice to have a coffee/tea station in the lobby or at least a water dispenser. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful
